Sister time

Hey all,
I was just thinking, yes, this forum is mainly for Mom's surprise party for her 60th birthday, but, hey, if we all organize that and finally get to be together again, I think we should take some time and do something just us all together as well. Probably after the big event.
Plus, it would be a really good thing for all of us with our partners to maybe go out for dinner or bowling or dinner or whatever to get to know each other. What do you guys think?

Hey! Yeah, that is a really nice idea... I might not have a partner tho? lol Pete and I are doing pretty well at the moment don't get me wrong, but I'm still thinking I'm a bit young to have this be 'it'.

Other then that, brilliant idea!! I'm totally up for it. We could maybe even have a holiday together! I mean if we can organise a surprise party for mom, we should be able to organise a holiday with all of us!!

I just didn't want to write Ruth + Seb, Esther and Andy, and Bee + current partner. LOL. It's just you have been quite steady with Pete, so I'm kinda looking into the future with that in mind. That doesn't mean this has to be it.

Holidays again, is an interesting topic. I have to see how much time I can get off during the summer, + if everything works out, I will just be returning from Mat Leave that year, so uhm, maybe we should do the holidays some other time? Or just not go too far from SSM.

maybe we could take a week or such and go out to the Rockies
or camp around here. Ontario is beautiful.

Just a little reminder, I might be a mommy until 2012, and I don't know how great camping with a 1-year old is. LOL. I do agree that Ontario is beautiful and we might be able to not go too far to have a couple of great days all together.

Well, I'm sure you could get a babysitter for a couple days? Especially if it ends up just being us three? Rather then our men in tow? I mean, they're not exactly sisters..... lol xxx

LOL. That's for sure. But what are the men supposed to do then? Especially yours? I can't really ask Mom to babysit when all her friends from Germany are still here..., but I might find someone I trust enough to look after the little one.

So, we still need some sister time if we have the partay in Germany.
What do you guys say about going to Austria for our little bit? Like Salzburg/Wien?
